DOST-NCR Celebrates 2023 National Womenโs Month with Empowerment and Gender Equality Initiatives

DOST-NCR staff joins the ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐ง-๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป of the ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฏ ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ช๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ปโ๐ ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต from March 29-30, underpinning ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐.
The 2-day activity includes Gender Equality Walk, Wellness Exercise (Zumba), DOST GAD Mini Bazaar, We Forum, and We for Healthy Well-being Nutrition Counseling. DOST-NCR-assisted beneficiaries and staff also join the GAD Bazaar to showcase women-led S&T enterprises.

Yuzon-Chaves (Executive Director Philippine Commission on Women, Ms. Mylene Abiva Chairperson Women’s Business Council of the Philippines, and Dr. Ramil T. Uy Senior Research Specialist DOST Region 8 also attended and served as speakers in the event.
