DOST-NCR Kicks Off 2024 National Women’s Month with Parade, Wellness Activities, Bazaar, and Lakambini Title Win
LOOK: DOST- National Capital Region joined the DOST community in celebrating the start of the 2024 National Women’s Month, which is anchored on the theme “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan.”
DOST-NCR’s Lakambini, Ms. Ken Handler Soledad, garbed in an outfit made from local fabric developed by the DOST-PTRI, led DOST-NCR’s delegation in a system-wide parade around the DOST compound, and later won the title of Lakambini ng Pagkakaisa.
The day-long festivities also feature Larong Pinoy, wellness activities, and a bazaar selling products of DOST-NCR-assisted enterprises and communities.
