DOST-NCR Co-Leads DOST’s 64th Anniversary Science Art Exhibit
In line with the celebration of the DOST’s 64th Founding Anniversary, a total of 50 artworks were exhibited during the Opening Ceremony of the 2022 Science Art Contest on 06 June 2022 at the DOST Central Office.
Inspired by the DOST-NCR’s Sining Siyensya conducted in 2021 as part of its celebration of the National Science and Technology Week, the Science Art Contest showcased the creativity of DOST personnel expressed through artworks under categories of oil/acrylic painting, coffee painting, digital art, photography, and watercolor painting.
DOST Regional Offices, R&D Institutes, Councils, and attached agencies participated in the event. The exhibit also featured some artworks of Dr. Josette Biyo, Director of the DOST Science Education Institute.
The competition was spearheaded by the Office of Asec. Maridon O. Sahagun, Assistant Secretary for Finance and Strategic Planning with support from DOST-NCR.
The exhibit is open to the public until June 10, 2022.
