Celebrating Science Beyond Borders: DOST-NCR Holds Twin Events in Binondo

It will be four days of fun and learning as the Department of Science and Technology-NCR (DOST-NCR) holds two events from May 29 to June 1, 2024 at the Lucky Chinatown in Binondo, Manila. The twin events signal the formal launch of DOST-NCR’s five-year campaign, dubbed as “Science Beyond Borders” which will see the agency’s activities and exhibitions that showcase out-of-the-box practical applications of science, technology, and innovation to provide solutions and create more opportunities for Filipinos.

Science Beyond Borders

“Science beyond borders” manifests DOST-NCR’s commitment to provide solutions and open opportunities beyond the usual – beyond borders of distance, industries, nature of business, professions, even personal and professional backgrounds.

For 2024 to 2028, DOST-NCR strives to offer bigger opportunities for people to learn about science, technology, and innovation, and realize that STI can solve their problems, and beyond that, open more opportunities for socio-economic growth and development. This campaign will run until 2028.

Science beyond borders will be launched during the Joint Celebration of the 2024 Science Food Festival, and a Summit for Overseas Filipino Workers.
