DOST-NCR, PCCI-New Marikina Ink Partnership to Promote S&T for MSMEs
The DOST-NCR signed a Memorandum of Alliance and Partnership with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) – New Marikina, represented by its President, Mr. Noel S. Flores, at the Kapitan Moy (Sentrong Pangkultura ng Marikina) on March 26, 2022.
This partnership is aimed at strengthening the promotion and adoption of the Science, Technology and Innovation (STI)-based programs and services in Marikina City.
Specifically, the DOST-NCR commits to provide a package of STI interventions to micro, small, and medium enterprises in the City through the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP).
On the other hand, the PCCI-New Marikina commits to represent the business community in the City and establish linkages with local and regional line agencies and international institutions to organize meetings and introduce the DOST SETUP.
