From Slow to FAST Charging!

The DOST-NCR PAMAMAZON CASTO pitched the Charging in Minutes (CharM) Technology of CHRG Electric Vehicle Technologies, Incorporated to Local Government Unit of Pasay thru its Tricycle and Pedicab Franchising and Regulatory Office (TPFRO) and Cooperative Development Office.

CharM (Charging in Minutes) is a DOST-funded technology developed by the University of the Philippines-Diliman which will significantly lessen the charging time, generate more income, and support a greener mass, maximizing the usage of EV technologies. Its researchers formed the CHRG EV Inc. as a spin-off company to produce and market CharM.

CHRG EV Inc.'s Engr. Janel F. Cruzate highlighted that it will reduce the conventional 4-6 hours slow charging, to less than an hour or even a matter of minutes for smaller vehicles.

DOST-NCR is looking into the deployment of CharM Stations that will help E-vehicle transport groups of Pasay City.
