France Ambassador Visits DOST-NCR's S&T-Based Projects in Quezon City

Madame Michele Boccoz, Ambassador of France to the Philippines, paid a community and project visit to Barangay Bagong Silangan, Quezon City on 02 June 2022.

Barangay Bagong Silangan is one of the beneficiaries under the DOST-NCR's Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology (CEST) Program. Ambassador Boccoz visited Bagong Silangan's community-based mushroom cultivation, Gulayan sa Pamayanan (GSP) featuring the Enriched Potting Preparation (EPP) and Simple Nutrient Addition Program (SNAP) Hydroponics technologies, and baking livelihood projects.

The projects visited were those implemented in the community in partnership with the Local Government of Quezon City, Virlanie Foundation Inc., and other partner agencies.

Attache of the French Embassy Ms. Ines Ferret, Virlanie Foundation President Mr. Dominique Lemay and DOST-NCR PAMAMAZON cluster staff joined the visit.
