Ideatechs Packaging Corporation Emerges as National Winner for the 2021 National SETUP PRAISE Award

The DOST recognized the Ideatechs Packaging Corporation as the National Winner for the 2021 National SETUP PRAISE Award during the Awarding Ceremonies held on November 23, 2021 via Zoom.

Formerly Greenpak Paper Package Manufacturing, the company has been assisted by the DOST-NCR through the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP) since 2016. With its business philosophy, "Pro-SME, Pro-Branding, Pro-Environment", the company offers customized paper packaging products to micro, small, and medium enterprises with low minimum order quantity, flexible customization, and good quality and reliability.

Ideatechs President, Ms. Maria Helen Lising, testified that they were able to produce quality paper-based products using the Paper Bowl Forming Machines and Double Walling Paper Cup Sleeving Machine acquired from the SETUP. They also increased their production capacity by 600% to 800%.

Aside from providing excellent service to MSMEs, Ideatechs commits to being sustainable through the production of eco-friendly food packaging materials. They also ensure a sustainable production chain from raw materials sourcing up to disposal.

Ideatechs remained steadfast with its commitment even during the pandemic early in 2020. They provided continuous support to their employees and extended corporate social responsibility activities to nearby communities in Metro Manila.

Ideatechs was also awarded as Regional Winner for Small Category for 2021 Productivity Olympics Award by the Department of Labor and Employment National Wages Productivity Commission, and 2019 D&AD Impact for Creative Excellence Sustainability Award in New York.
